Branch of PowerChina Sichuan Engineering Corporation Limited in Vietnam (SCECC Vietnam) was established on July 2018, who is the fully owned branch company of PowerChina Sichuan Engineering Corporation Limited (SCECC).

SCECC started its power business in Vietnam since 2007 by construction of Uong Bi Thermal Power Plant in Quan Ninh Province and continues its operation followed by Duyen Hai Thermal Power Plant in Tra Vinh, Can Tho Waste-to-Energy in Can Tho and several new energy projects.

The company has first-level general contracting qualifications for power engineering construction, first-level professional contracting of mechanical and electrical equipment installation, municipal engineering, construction engineering, etc., and foreign contracting project qualification certificates.
